Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the International Association for Counselling (IAC), I am pleased to invite leaders of counselling associations and organizations from around the globe to attend the 2025 IAC Associations’ Roundtable Meeting. This important international gathering will take place on Saturday, 12 July 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM, at the Conference Centre, Radisson Blu Hotel, St Julian’s, Malta, Europe. The meeting is part of the International Counselling Conference taking place from 11–13 July 2025. Full conference details can be viewed HERE.
The IAC Associations’ Roundtable offers a valuable opportunity for counselling leaders to connect, exchange insights, and collaborate on issues of global significance. The counselling profession continues to grow rapidly worldwide, with increasing recognition from governments, regional bodies, and intergovernmental organizations such as the United Nations [see HERE]. It is more important than ever that we work together—on standards, advocacy, and partnerships—to support and shape the development of counselling as a global profession.
Each association or organization is welcome to send up to two representatives to the Roundtable. While IAC is not in a position to offer financial assistance for participation, we warmly welcome delegates from associations both large and small. Representatives from United Nations agencies will also be in attendance.
For further information or to confirm your participation, please contact Mr. Naoise Kelly at ceo@iac-irtac.org.
Founded in 1966, IAC is the world body for the counselling profession. We look forward to welcoming you to Malta!
Warm regards,
Dr. Bill Borgen
President, International Association for Counselling (IAC)
