Please find some important information below. Particular attention is drawn to the information about registration and payment. If you have already registered and paid please ignore this section.

Booking and Payment: All conference Attendees and Presenters must book and pay for a conference ticket. This is done through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) website HERE

Payment on-site. If you intend to pay onsite you must still book online to gain entry. There are no credit card facilities at the venue and therefore on-site payment must be made, to the IAC Treasurer, in $USD cash. For international attendees, advance notice of your intention to pay this way would be appreciated.

Registration DesksThese are open from 9am each day.

Conference Programme: A printed copy will be included in each conference bag. Please view the IAC Working Groups and consider which group you will join for Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Conference Certificate: A Certificate of Attendance will be included in each attendee’s conference bag.

Spanish/English Interpretation: This conference has two working languages: Spanish and English. For all Plenary sessions (everyone together in the main ‘Sala Siranush’ hall) there will be simultaneous interpretation delivered by professional interpreters through individual headsets. Headsets can be collected at Sala Siranush.

In the Working groups, voluntary Interpreters will assist with language. This will mostly involve consecutive interpretation - which takes longer than simultaneous interpretation. Presenters are requested to bear this in mind in relation to the duration of their talk. Each working group Chairperson will guide proceedings. IAC has used this system in the past and it has worked well. We are most grateful to our voluntary interpreters.

Laptops and Audio Visuals: Presenters in the main hall (the 'Sala Siranuch') such as Keynote speakers, Plenary Round Table Presenters, and Plenary Chairpersons, need to bring any presentation materials they have on a USB drive, or key. Your USB key will be placed into the supplied laptop in the Sala Siranuch.

Presenters in all other rooms (classrooms) such as the working group presenters, are asked to bring their own laptops. Projectors and all connection cables will be supplied. An audio-visual technician will be on hand, throughout the conference, to assist. Please ask for this person at the reception area if you have any questions.

Electricity: Electricity in Argentina is 220 Volts. The plug/socket shapes used can be seen here: adaptador enchufe argentino

WI-FI: Free and Open Wi-Fi will be available at the conference venue.

We look forward to seeing you and to a great conference!
